International Day USA

Following the expansion of our English language events last year, Filmplus will once again host an entire International Day, which will take place on Saturday, 26 October 2019. To complement the Guest Country Evening (an essential part of the festival since 2012) and the International Panel (introduced in 2016), we are also hosting the International Film Editors Forum (IFEF) for the second time.

In the evening event, two time Academy Award nominee Tim Squyres will present his masterpiece "The Ice Storm" (1997). He is joined by Academy Award nominees Dody Dorn and Tatiana S. Riegel.

Nach der Erweiterung seines englischsprachigen Programms im vergangenen Jahr, richtet Filmplus am Samstag, dem 26. Oktober 2019 wieder einen ganzen International Day aus. In Ergänzung zum Gastlandabend (seit 2012 fester Bestandteil des Festivals) und zum Internationalem Panel (2016 eingeführt), wird zum zweiten mal das International Film Editors Forum (IFEF) stattfinden.

Bei der Abendveranstaltung wird der zweifach oscarnominierte Tim Squyres sein Meisterwerk "Der Eissturm" (1997) vorstellen. Mit ihm kommen auch die oscarnominierten Editorinnen Dody Dorn und Tatiana S. Riegel.
